Our story
Ember & Fire Lounge is led by Vikram Nanda, from a family of Scottish restaurateurs already serving guests across West Lothian. In Bearsden, Vikram has brought that love of tikka, chaat and spice under one timber roof that works as a café, bar and restaurant, from your first coffee of the morning to your last cocktail of the night.

our food philosophy
We cook with fire because fire gives food character. Our tandoor chars paneer, chicken, prawns and lamb until the edges crackle, our biryanis are sealed and slow steamed in the copper handi, and our chaat is bright, crunchy and made to order, just like the street stalls of Delhi and Mumbai.
We use Scottish salmon and seasonal produce wherever we can, and every dish is clearly marked for vegetarian, vegan, nuts and spice so every guest can order with confidence.
